P: Smokey and the Bandit

E: Umm, Scooby-Doo?

Connection: Well, let's see...they both start with "S" but that's stupid. They both featured trademark cars? Didn't Smokey have some sort of Firebird?

The Plebian is dead-on. The Erudite is definitely one of the Scooby-Doo shows...but which one?

The Connection could use a little work; it's not the cars. The 1977 Trans-Am Firebird and the undated Mystery Machine are a little too distant to be related.

Correct. Love me a little "Pretty Mary Sunshine" and "Eastbound and Down".
