A: "I Walk the Line" by Jauqin Pheonix, er, Johnny Cash

B: "Blue Suede Shoes", made famous by Elvis but NOT written the King. No my friends, this dandy of a song (that I don't particularly care for, but that's not the order of the day here) was written by Carl Perkins.

Connection: Mr. Cash gave Mr. Perkins the idea to write Blue Suede Shoes. Mr. Cash turned out to be one smart, drugged-up alcoholic, that's for sure.
