In "Battle Of The Planets", Casey Kasem's character would yell out "TransssMUTE!", causing him to morph into the leader of G-Force.

Why is the E so often easier than the P?
P: Who freakin' knows?
E: From The Bugaloos theme song.
Well, the P is randomly drawn from a stack of cards I have in a box here at work. I make a bunch in advance, and then snag one each morning. I read the P and then muse over what the E should be based on the P. Some days it's hard to come up with a good candidate for the E, and I have to just slide with something fairly obvious.
Like yesterday, f'r'instance. What the hell do you do for "Felix the Cat"? The only famous things about Felix is that he carry a carpetbag, and that he was the first character ever broadcast on television (and you might not know the latter unless you've taken a passel of media classes.) A cat reference would be too obvious, and a post-Civil War Reconstruction reference would be far too hard. So, in the pressed early hours of the workplace, I jsut went with Felix.
Bugaloos is correct. And hot. Oh Joy, why won't you be mine?
Oh Joy, why won't you be mine?
Because she's all mine. Back off, improv-boy.
Oh, and since no-one's stepping up, the P is from the theme song of Alice.
I'm not feeling a connection. Maybe Vic Tayback and Billy Barty were separated at birth?
Martha Raye was featured on both shows. On Alice, she was Mel's mothr. On The Bugaloos, she played villain Benita Bizarre.
Also on The Bugaloos, Caroline Ellis played my girlfriend. Suck it, Ray.
