In "Battle Of The Planets", Casey Kasem's character would yell out "TransssMUTE!", causing him to morph into the leader of G-Force.

P: Elmer 'n' Bugs
E: That Schoolhouse Rock about pronouns
Correct on both counts.
And the Connection?
Dude, I got nothin'. Could it be simply the alliteration of "Albert Andreas Armadillo" and "Bugs Bunny"?
No, not alliteration...do a little Googling, and it should pop into view.
The pleb is not Elmer and Bugs, it's Daffy and Bugs trying to outwit Elmer.[\nitpicking]
Otherwise, I have no clue.
Also, I love the word abecederian.
Lisa is correct, actually. The "Duck Season! Rabbit Season!" exchange is between Daffy and Bugs as opposed to Elmer and Bugs.
Connection: As Ray stated, the Schoolhouse Rock in question (entitled "Rufus Xavier Sasparilla") is about pronouns. One of the famous lines from the Duck Season/Rabbit Season trilogy of cartoons is Daffy saying "pronoun trouble".
From Wikipedia:
Daffy Duck: [re-animated] Hah! That’s it! Hold it right there! [to audience] Pronoun trouble. [to Bugs] It's not "he doesn't have to shoot you now", it's "he doesn't have to shoot me now"
[Pause]
Daffy: [angrily] Well, I say he does have to shoot me now!! [to Elmer] So shoot me now!
[Elmer shoots Daffy again]
