I can figure out the quotes, but I'm not sure what the connection is. I have a guess, though.
John Leguizamo was in Moulin Rougue, which was a cabaret, like the Kit Kat club in "Cabaret."

The first quote is from a 1980's Kit Kat commercial, and the second is from "To Wong Foo." So that's where I got the "connection."
