Little Batman

Oh my fucking god, this is the best thing EVER. Some guy made an homage to the old 1960s Batman show, but with kid actors! The boy doing Batman is GREAT! The costumes are amazing, the attention to ridiculous detail is hilarious, and the Batmobile...my go, the Batmobile. I would've killed for that when I was a kid.

Check out Little Batman: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.

I want to make movies now.

Really? A two minute title sequence over posed action figures? Ugh. Get over yourself, Internet film-maker.

I gave it seven minutes, and then when nothing happened but a Scooby Doo cameo, I had to bail.

It's very cute, it's extraordinarily well designed and shot, but it's so very self-indulgent. It's like he went through so much trouble to design the sets and costumes, he couldn't confront the fact that he's got five minutes in there, tops.

I got BORED, Ted Hobgood!

I'll partially commiserate with you Scott; the long panning action figure sequence almost had me hitting stop. But the rest of the movie had enough references back to the series and both quality and amusing acting that it kept me entertained to the very end, and indeed, to blog about it, which I rarely do for internet films. If I were directing it, I would've cut the opening credits to about 15-20 seconds, and would've edited the post-dream sequence down to about half, but the middle of the sandwich was golden. If you're a fan of the old series, this was fabulous, because he covered the whole formulaic format of the show--he took just enough time to include everything he needed for the parody, with the exception of the aforementioned possible edits. It was Bat-tastic.

Has anyone seen Siegel? If you see him, let him know I'm looking for him...

Nice find, Ted.

Guess they couldn't find a fat kid to play King Tut.A friend of mine always thought WB should have signed Chris Farley for one of the Keaton/Kilmer/Clooney films to play him.
